I got a series of 4 shock attacks yesterday. Hmm, sigh. I'll blog more when something eventful happens. Oh, right, today's the reunion dinner. -.- [I returned.] Right. I can't say I liked the dinner. I mean, I smsed Neh, Alien (for the initial part of the dinner, until I decided she was sick and I shouldn't bother her), and Chimp (for the latter part, :P) and I got my angbaos. Absolutely no comment about the angbaos, though. They go straight into my account so no one on this earth will know how much I got. :D Anyway, I found a line on this HK film, Missing/ShenHaiXunRen. "To dead people, Death isn't something harmful to them." The line was somewhere around those edges, though I'm pretty sure it goes waaay longer than that. I just like that line for its many meanings. For one, it initially was used in a scene where this ghost/dead person goes around harming/killing people and then this was used to explain her actions. For me, I assume this as finding solace in the afterlife. Knowing that you're through with it and you will never have to feel it again. And that's how I want to live my afterlife. There's no reason to be sad over a person's death. Be glad for them. They're through with dying and they can live their life the way they want it to be. Even better, knowing that people miss them and never will cease to. And yet better, knowing that those people who will never cease to miss them will join them eventually. Okay, so the post does sound a little sadistic, but it's for all people who are dealing with the loss of a dear one. And one more word of advice: Never take people for granted. It's just... tremendous pain, when you see that you took someone for granted and that person leaves you... forever. It's something I hope I'm not doing, and if I am, try to change it. Ahma, Ahgong, I'm not going to take you two for granted. I promise I never will. I don't want to deal with the pain of losing either of you two. I love you both.
