Because I lost my sanity long ago. TWITTER! FACEBOOK!	Friday, 26 March 2010 I'm finally back from Camp. Day 1 I woke up at about 5++ and went to School. Dang it, it is totally awesome wearing my size 34 PE shirt. At school, I didn't see anyone and was pretty peeved, 'cause C promised me that she'd be there and... well, yeah. But I did see them anyway. We were all very reluctant to leave, oh yes. C spammed me messages saying how much she'd miss us and all. We met our trainers in school -- Alvin and Eugene. Alvin led Group 14, made up of all the even register numbers whilst Eugene led Group 13, made up of all the odd register numbers. I, naturally, ended up in Group 14 since my register number was 6. We went to Labrador immediately after. I guess the place seemed fine, but the eerie tales pertaining to the place being haunted really perturbed me for a while. But nah, everything was alright when we came to the active, high, fun and energetic moments. I don't really remember what we did, except for a small little talk in the hall and then lunch. Unfortunately/fortunately, 2I was the first class of the whole level to do lunch duty. Interesting :) Then we went to do Low Elements/ General Stations. I'd lost my waterbottle and had to use Alien's Sprite 1.5l bottle. Thanks, :D Then we did Bouldering Wall. I liked this one, it was like a horizontal rock climbing activity. I was able to propel myself high enough to travel from A to B, though I gave up after a while as it was too strenuous for me to proceed. I did like this one. Then we did Nitro-Crossing. I didn't like this one, :O My left foot kept skidding across the asphalt ground but in any way it didn't really hurt, just that the feeling was just... plain terror. Oh, and, I have trust issues. Then we went for discussion of our Campfire Nite performance and didn't continue with our activities as the LRWS* had came up. (Lightning Risk Warning System) We kind of came to a consensus, I guess. Kind of. Then we went to bathe and then dinner. And thus I move on to our night activity: The Olympian Identity. We didn't have any nightwalk. I was pretty saddened 'cause of that. I mean, come on. It was Labrador we were at, and we had no nightwalk. How good can that get!? So, anyway. Basically, The Olympian Identity is about us, students of a particular class, hunting for green beans that the People of Authority (*teachers and coaches and trainers alike) use as their currency to purchase points, snacks, drinks and all. So, the 2Ians slogged their guts out trying to find some bloody beans and well, imagine how big they were. Just imagine how big they were. -.- So, we got a pretty cool amount of points with the green beans we collected, but here's the catch -- the People of Authority will sneak a chance to take your Camp Booklets (what they perceive as your identity) and keep them, thus stealing your identity and 'who you are'. We managed to discover this after Jason's book got 'stolen' and we heightened security measures. Huiyi managed to consolidate all the booklets and safekeep them from the People of Authority. We received the highest number of points with our number of safe booklets. That's the end of Day 1. We went to sleep with sweaty bodies. :( Day 2 So, as you can all see, we did Low Elements on Day 1, which leaves the High Elements for Day 2, which is the current day you're reading about. We washed up (I took a shower :X), cleaned up and left for breakfast. Then we headed for Abseiling! Dang it, I didn't do Abseiling as there wasn't enough time. I'm too lazy to write down what I frankly felt. Then it was CRC. Lynette went first and she was... WOW. "Zai lah!" :D It was scary for me. I went up the starting log and felt it shaking and I didn't complete any, though I did try two -- Swinging Logs and Criss-Cross. Then we did our Ultimate Colloseum challenge! The whole level was subjected to mental and physical challenges, and 2E and 2I tied with 78 points on each class. Then we went to bathe. Since we didn't get our camp tees yet, I wore my PE shirt. Then we were brought to an area where Timothy (Deputy Camp Chief) announced that... 2I was chosen to be the Organising Committee for the Campfire! That is one huge job we were allocated! Naturally, we were... happy. We knew we could do our best, and we did. We strived to make the Campfire a good one. The sheer importance of the job was clearly reflected in how hard we worked. And yes, the Campfire was orchestrated with all our sweat and hard work and determination. Day 3 We did Area Cleaning and played Bang, Bang. Exchanged some heartfelt words and there... we left Labrador, thus marking the real, official and cruel end to our 3D2N camp. - - - My Words I felt that this camp was truly motivational and educational, not to mention... fun. There are some things that I've learnt in this camp that I'll never forget, never be able to forget. It's about what you believe in, and whether you believe you can do it. It's what you think and do. With your choice, you can alter the future. It's all about you.
